Connecticut Water and Heritage Village Water Offers Free Potable Water Station

In response to widespread power outages that are affecting residents who rely on private wells in the Southbury, Middlebury and Oxford area, Connecticut Water and Heritage Village Water have opened a free potable water station at Heritage Village in Southbury. The water station is located at Community House Park, 200 Community House Road, Southbury (near Route 67). This is a free service provided to the community.

SJW Group (NYSE: SJW) and Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTWS) today announced that both companies’ boards of directors have unanimously approved a definitive agreement to combine through a merger of equals to create the 3rd largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility in the United States, based on pro forma enterprise value and combined rate base.

Connecticut Water Service Inc. names David C. Benoit president and CEO and Robert J. Doffek chief financial officer, treasurer and controller

The board of directors of Connecticut Water Service Inc. (CTWS or the company) announced today that David C. Benoit has been named president and CEO of the company effective immediately. Benoit has served as interim president and CEO since Sept. 28, 2017. Richard Knowlton will continue as president of the company’s Maine operating subsidiary, Maine Water Company.
