Pomperaug River Low-Flow Plan Action Level Reached

River flows in the Pomperaug River have hit the first trigger in the recently announced low-flow operations plan. As called for in the plan, The Heritage Village Water Company, the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, and the Town of Southbury are taking steps to increase public awareness of the river flow.

New Protections for Pomperaug River Announced

Today, the Heritage Village Water Co. the CPV Towantic Energy Center, the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition and the Town of Southbury announced new and significant measures to maintain flows in the Pomperaug River. The measures proactively reduce public water supply demands that could affect river flows on the Pomperaug aquifer.

Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTWS), today announced the availability of the Company’s 2018 Corporate Sustainability Report. Heritage Village Water/Connecticut Water Earn High Marks from Customer Satisfaction Survey

Connecticut Water Company, Avon Water Company and Heritage Village Water Company, the water utilities for customers across 59 Connecticut towns, today announced the results of its most recent customer satisfaction survey, which was commissioned to better understand what customers expect from their water service. The results revealed that the expectations of more than 91 percent of customers were being met all or most of the time.
